This post is just a heads up to inform people that I’ve come to the difficult decision to have Ashby destroyed because of his aggression. If things don’t change dramatically in the next couple of days, we will be having him put down this Wednesday. Words can’t begin to cover how awful I feel about this. I have put over 10 years of myself into this animal, and right now, he doesn’t bring any positive aspects to our lives except one: Quincy adores him. That, in itself, is what will make this awfully hard to do, but there is no way around it. Ashby has become far to dangerous to keep at home any longer.
So, unless you hear from me otherwise, Ashby will no longer be with us as of Wednesday some time.
I plan on putting up a page of Ashby pictures at some point on this site to remember him.
I am so sorry that you have to make this decision…it is never easy. Hugs to all.
