Wouldn’t you know it, but he looks like both of us! Hardly a coincidence I think.
Things have been slowly getting better. We had a hard time yesterday and last night with breastfeeding, but, with some help and guidance, things are back on track. He has gained a lot weight in the past couple days. It is amazing how content a fully tummy can make a baby.
Quincy’s cousins, Isaac and Nathan, are coming to visit soon and we are excited for the kids to see him. Isaac wanted to see him in the hospital, but since he’s not a sibling, he wasn’t allowed – until we broke the rules. 🙂
He sure is amazing! However, I think he looks more like Dara. Sorry, Steve. Of course he will change a lot in the weeks and months to come. All babies are a miracle and special gifts from God. I think that about my own children each day, but when I see Quincy I am especially aware of how miracles do come true. Thank you, God.
