Okay, I made a typographical error when I made the 21 month old photo page. If you attempt to get to that page via the link in the e-mail you received, then you’ll get an error page. If you browse to the site itself, then you’ll have no problems seeing the page. The correct page for the new photos can be found here. Sorry for the mess up – I’ll blame Quincy, or the dog.
21 Months Old – May 15, 2007
Here are the 21 month old candid shots.
Quincy got some new duds for springtime – here he is showing off one of his favorite new t-shirts. As you can see from some of the photos, he is still dealing with some redness above his lip, but all in all, he’s doing better with his facial rash. Now with spring sort of here, we’ll see what happens next. Happy 2-1 Quinn-man.
Silence is Broken
It sure has been a long time since I have said anything on Quincy’s site. Well, that hasn’t been for lack of trying. I have done some work behind the scenes and you will find new audio, video and pictures (those of you who visit regularly know that already).
I have completed work on compiling photos from Quincy’s first year onto DVD. I tapped into my creative side and used a Star Wars theme. If anyone who reads this site would like a copy and did not receive one, then please send me an email (srock@saurette.com) and I can get a copy out to you.
Quincy and I just dropped off my brother, Bill, and his wife, Melissa, at the Bangor airport. They flew up on Monday for a visit and saw fit to bring their hot Orlando weather with them. Yick. We, okay Bill, spent a good portion of Tuesday AM beautifying the front yard with mulch. Quincy loves being outside – so it was no problem to keep him entertained.
Unfortunately, Bill had a cold that got worse and worse while they were here. On Dara’s day off, Wednesday, we made the trek down to Acadia National Park to do some exploring. For whatever reason, we didn’t have to pay, but we did manage to drive up Cadillac Mountain, go to Jordan Pond area, and walk some carriage trails. Quincy really had a lot of fun and was busy running all over exploring the different areas of the park. Make sure to check out the photos and the brief video from the visit.
It was a quick visit, but Quincy seemed to really remember them from when we went to Florida in February. He gave them both high-fives at the airport on Monday and today he gave them hugs before we had to leave for home. I think one of the highlights for Quincy was his first trip up and down an escalator. He really, really had a lot of fun with that.
With the nicer weather and Quincy doing more things outside, I’m sure that the posts will become somewhat more regular. It sounds like an empty promise, but I’ll make it nonetheless. 😀
20 Months Old – April 15, 2007
Here are the 20 month old candid shots.
I guess 20 months old is a milestone of sorts – no more ages starting with a ‘1’ for a while (thankfully). Quincy has gotten better at letting us take his picture from a distance, although he still bull rushes the lens from time to time.
